It all began in 1969 with First Lady Pat Nixon. A sweet idea that would become one of the most cherished holiday traditions at the White House for decades to come.

Since 1981, the White House Historical Association has been proud to design and manufacture the Official White House Christmas Ornament. Collecting and giving these unique ornaments has become a holiday tradition for millions of Americans. All ornament sales support the mission of the non-profit, non-partisan Association to protect, preserve, and provide public access to the history of the White House.
